- Inspecting the entire roof for hail hits.
- Inspecting the shingles for wind damage.
- Inspecting the flashing for damage.
- Inspecting the valleys for proper leak protection.
- Inspecting the ridge and/or ridge vents for damage.
- Inspecting roof ventilation, and if it is adequate to cool the roof.
- Inspecting the shingles for damage caused by overheating.
- Inspecting soft metals (Vent caps, Furnace caps, etc.) for hail hits.
- Inspecting gutter installation and water removal efficiency.

Some signs of storm damage can even be seen from the ground!

Discoloration
